Wow, I know Arctic Monkeys are my favourite band, but I'm shocked at how quickly I've fallen in love with their new album. It's absolutely immense, full stop. I didn't think they would be making a comeback quite as soon as they have done, but boy am I glad they did. Now all I need is for them to tour :)
My favourite songs off the album so far are probably Dance Little Liar, Crying Lightning and Pretty Visitors. I think its safe to say the band have taken quite a turn for the morbid, but the music is still really good. People are saying that they've lost the unique sound that they occupied in the previous two albums, (whatever people say I am, that's what I'm not/favourite worst nightmare) but I just think they've grown up a lot in the past year or so, and that reflects in their new music.
Though I have to say, why on earth did Alex Turner grow his hair? I mean fair enough, long hair is alright, but get some GHD's on it for crying out loud, it just looks like a wig has been slapped on his head and he's stuck with it. Either straighten it, or get it chopped Turner!
Humbug is a very good album, and its interesting to see how much the Arctic Monkeys sound has changed since Favourite Worst Nightmare. Job well done I think, and I eagerly await the tour!

I haven't written anything for a good while. Life is definately somewhat more interesting since leaving school. I like knowing I can get up whenever the fuck I want, and do things at my own pace. The leavers do was interesting. All you gayarse American suck ups may call it 'Prom'. But our school is better and more common than yours, akay? Was interesting seeing what everyone looked like, I've never seen them all looking so different! I'm totally glad I've left though, towards the end I wasn't getting on with people very well anymore and I just wanted out so much. I'll keep in touch with some people, but the rest can fuck off as far as I'm concerned. I'm shutting the book on high school and leaving it to gather dust at the back of my mind. Good riddance :)
I went shopping for Kane's birthday today, I'm quite happy with what I bought for him. I'm looking forward to this weekend, it should be quite fun :) whats everyone doing this weekend?
Love Me :) xo.

What she said...

Okay, so I thought everyone had got over their bitchy ways. Obviously I am mistaken. Me and a few friends were talking about another friend the other day, nicely I might add. Since that discussion, one of my friends has been bitching about the girl we were talking about, when she had nothing but good things to say before! People confuse me when they're like that. One thing I like about myself, is that I always have been and always will be straightforward - if I don't like you, you will definately know about it.
On an overall more nice note, I have my outfit for the christening sorted. And its pretty cute, I must say. I have a pale pink strappy dress with big buttons all the way down the front, and a band in the middle to pull it in at the waist. I'm going to get some gladiator sandals to go with it, I had some last summer and I loved them.
Bank holidays are so dreary, hardly anything happens! My stepdad was out playing golf this morning so my mum went meeting a friend for a drink, with the kids. I went out to meet them for a few hours, and apart from that I haven't done much.
I can't wait to see my Kaneyy! I've only been away from him since yesterday but I miss him so much. We're going seeing Enter Shikari this weekend, which should be really good.
I'm about to go and play with Callum, he's smacking the side of my laptop with his dummy, and me thinks that is a cry for attention!

What a weekend...

Sorry I haven't written since Thursday. I was actually planning on writing on Friday morning, but I didn't end up having time to. It's been an eventful weekend, I had a really good time. I met Kane on Friday afternoon and we went in the Arndale, looking to buy easter things for one another (of which we ended up eating most of before today, but nevermind). The weather on Saturday was really nice so after making myself feel sick eating too much strawberry ice cream, we went out for a few hours. It was nice down the dell, cause it was really warm and we took quite a few photos. We got to this part, where there was a load of rocks and water falling onto them so fast it was white, and there was a path to walk around it nice and easily, but we decided to climb up the rocky part at the side of it, which was really fun but very mucky haha. At the end of our dangerous little outing, we came out of the dell much further away than we thought we would, and ended up walking from Rochdale to Whitworth. It was worth it though, and atleast the sun was shining.

I was brave and tackled my fear of heights. The view from the top of the viaduct.

I pull the most flattering faces.

I got quite a lot of chocolate today, I've eaten quite a bit of it aswell, I must say I'm feeling rather sick! Kane got me bloody loads, the Lindt chocolate bunny he got me is staring at me as I type, but it looks too cute to eat actually! I'm going to go and have some quiet time now me thinks.

I'm sat up in bed, still very tired to say the least. I'm still no more decided about today's scenario, I don't think I'll end up going to see dad to be perfectly honest. We'll see. I was watching Horne and Corden last night, god those guys make me laugh! I want to know if there will be a new series of Gavin and Stacey?
Ooh, I do believe I found the perfect dress last night, for the christening. And would you believe it, after searching every clothes site known to man, the dress I eventually chose - Lee Evans would take the piss out of this - was on the very first site I went on in the first place!
So what are everyone's plans for the weekend? I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday! I'm going to Manchester tomorrow to buy easter stuff with Kane. He just said on the phone that he is going to eat it tomorrow, and I simply shall not let him. Saturday and Sunday is also going to be spent with Kane.
I've gotta say, I really like these wet look leggings and skinny jeans that people are wearing now. They're not to everyone's taste but I think they look really good! I saw some wet look skinny jeans on ASOS for £55 last night - which I don't think is too bad - and they were the same as the ones Cheryl Cole wore apparently. I bought a skirt with braces last month, and I have to say its my favourite item of clothing at the minute, I can put it with anything, I love it. One thing I don't like at the minute, is the real hair bows that Lady Gaga seems to be sporting. I think they look awful, but maybe its one of those things that is going to grow on me - I'll be raving about them soon! Anyway, I'm still sat up in bed and my hair is everywhere, so I am going to go and sort out my birds nest and make myself look presentable before dinnertime! I'll try to get back later on.

I'm so glad that I'm currently on my two week easter break from school, I need the rest I can tell you. A combination of being unbelievably bored, and seeing a friend's livejournal drove me to start my own. I went out with Emma on Friday night for the first time in bloody ages. It was really good, I hadn't talked to her properly for so long! Saturday to Monday was spent with Kane, which was great. We didn't do very much but I just love the time we spend together. I'd go up and see him today, only I'm saving all my money for easter. £20 for an easter egg is a rip off if you ask me, but god they look good. So today is going to be spent doing nothing of great importance or interest, funfun. I've been looking for an outfit online, I have a christening in around two weeks time, and I need to look pretty haha. I was on ASOS last night, some of the prices made me feel sick, but i found quite a few acceptable ones! I want something that I'm going to be able to wear again afterwards, not just something I'm going to wear once. I hear pale, pastelly colours are in at the minute so thats what I'm searching for. And well, dresses are my trademark outfits, you'll see me in barely anything else, so its going to have to be a dress me thinks. I want some new shoes too. The summer holidays shall be spent searching for new clothes for college, I reckon. That's going to be the only problem with college, routing through the wardrobe every morning for something wearable! Speaking of college, I got my second audition date today. Its on the 22nd April, and I have to recite a monologue lasting 2-3 minutes, so I'm thinking of doing something from To Kill A Mocking Bird.
I'm rather deep in thought at the moment too, about tomorrow. I haven't seen my dad for a good while and he wants to see us all tomorrow - me, my sister and my brother, that is - and I'm just not sure if I want to go. I know it seems really materialistic, but he missed my 16th birthday! It's not that I wanted a present or money or anything, just a text would have been nice in all honesty! So im undecided on whether I should go or not.
I may go and read some of Russell Brand's 'My Booky Wook' now. I've had it since christmas, read it religiously for two or three days and now I've scarcely read it since February. Shameful. It's actually a really interesting book aswell, so that just shows that I have the attention span of a tiny knat.
